ZTE MF283+ Alternative firmware or "proper" admin console

Hi there

Long time lurker - first time poster:

Does anyone know of either an alternative firmware update for the ZTE MF283+ router, or a proper admin gui/console ? I need to change the external DNS addresses as Vodacom seems to be acting up. Last night I used 2 different Vodacom SIM cards in the router and although it showed connected, and had a wee bit of traffic flowing in and out, they both gave me DNS time-outs. Using both these cards in a 3g router worked with out any issues.

It could be not DNS related. Ping some Internet address by IP address. If no response, then fixing DNS is not going to help.

Added: How old are these SIM's? Check in other LTE device or verify proper LTE provisioning with help desk.
