My sister just received her router and SIM on a data contract, but the SIM doesn't seem to want to connect to the network. The SIM was inserted, but on the device it only shows 'limited service' with no bars indicating signal strength.

Do you have to wait for the SIM to be activated or do anything else to get the thing going?

Just leave the device on with the sim it will eventually register.

Thanks. It did just that about 20 minutes ago. I wonder why they don't make any mention of it in any of the literature that comes with the device. I'm pretty tech savvy, my sister is not, it was quite frustrating for her when the thing didn't want to work. She expected it to work immediately right out of the box.
