Why, wasn't he applauded by them after he resigned during the PPC hearing last year over Cloudy's reappointment?

He was and seems like one of the good guys, but on the other side he's a legal consultant for Luthuli House - which puts some heavy suspicion on his lack of impartiality.

At least in the other court today, the Minister of Communications now finds herself pretty much no longer in a position to interfere in the business of the SABC.
Some small progress in the right direction. Maybe that is another reason for the Dlodlo move?
