Being a member of the UN we are bound by UN protocols when it comes to international relations/obligations/agreements.
Otherwise we need to resign from the UN and do whatever the fsk we want
Actually defence pacts are done in terms of the Vienna Convention but the principle is the same.
No matter how much Jstrike wants to think that the constitution gives carte blanche to anyone and that we get to decide definitions on a whim, the wording is actually painfully clear. Yet he and the shower chap think that terms such as 'international obligations' mean something other than what is meant in terms of international law.
If it was meant to be some arbitrary term it would have just said obligations.
And then we'd have a debate about who can enter into obligations. And how that process works.
The sad news for the chump at the top and his fanboy is that he doesn't have SA as his private play thing. He just seems to get away with crap because the ANC prefers to not notice.
