Its possible that it could be different this time - Jackson, and Gordaan were both supporting Zuma in the last attempt and have both publicly denounced him now, as has Gwede.
IF they put their money where their mouths are its going to be close.
 
They have too much to lose since they are all just as corrupt as zuma.
And hence the numbers will keep #1 in place and nothing will change.
Yes it'll show who is corrupt as well and who supports corruption but that will never feed down to the masses that vote for these criminals.

Not holding my breath either and I was truly hope I am wrong.

Yup. Chief whip is the guy who basically enforces the party line voting... if he's not supporting Zuma, things could potentially be VERY different.

The issue is, if its not their idea then its a bad idea and they don't like the opposition dictating things to them.

Also the NEC could have already recalled Zuma and they have not.

I'm still optimistic though and even if some ANC votes go against him Ill be happy - and some change will happen.
 
Even if the voting was secret, the outcome would be the same, because all those ANC Mp's are feeding from the trough supplied by Zuma. All they know is that if Zuma is gone, so is the gravy.

But they might think a little further ahead, and fear total loss come 2019.

I know, thinking ahead is a bit much to expect of the ANC.

:) I dunno hey, have you seen clips on youtube of 50 cal snipers in Iraq etc? Messy stuff, if you need more firepower than that you'll need artillery ... which I'm not against at all either :D
