But that's why they call it a probe you idiot. Because there is no evidence, although there is a strong suggestion.

If there was evidence it wouldn't have been necessary for a probe.

A probe is to get evidence.

Isn't a probe the same thing as an investigation? I'm no expert in law but I presume you need at least some evidence for the authorities to be able to launch an investigation?
 
I guess the best thing to do would be to lay charges of corruption at a police station ... oh wait, that's not proof either.

I guess then we'll have to prosecute Malema to prove he's guilty so that we can probe him.

This Zuma dude isn't that stupid after all!

Uhm, no.

A probe is not the same as an investigation. A probe can be done the organisation or whoever ... but an investigation is done by the police.

The fact is: Zuma would rather hope that Malema is not found guilty. Because this is like somebody accusing your beloved Alsation of snapping at the next door maltese poodle and killing it in the process. Of course you would want to stifle the search for the real offender.
