Zuma visits Rhema

The church is for preaching the gospel, ie. the Bible... not having your buddies around and doing them a favour by trying to persuade your congregation to vote for him.

I would have walked out too... and found another church where somebody would preach from the Bible to me.

If I want to listen to Jacob Zuma I will turn on the TV.

It was hosted by Ray McCauley - friend of the ANC -

As far as I understand the congregation were unaware he was going to be there. Our leader ?

I think the problem lies with the Church then... and more so the leadership of the church....;)

birds of a feather flock together.

Zuma goes to Ray and he prays for the miraculous recovery of Shaik.

One time but also remember rhema is by no means a church, it is a multi million rand business. GOD does not really mean much to most of the people running Rhema. Their GOD is money so it must have set the ANC back millions.

agreed. Sadly. most megachuches have started worshipping Mammon.

Didn't Rhema give Niehause some money?

Doesn't God help those who help themselves? And Niehaus helped himself.

I think Creepy Crawley will have some answering to do when he gets called to that board meeting in the sky.

I heard that Zuma is upset because he thought it was something other than the RAPturE that was on offer.

Matthew 21:12-13
And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,

And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

McCauley is doing this so that his empire might be spared, when all hell breaks loose in ZA.

But this even, regardless of whether it has happened in the past or not, is not right. I see this as the ANC saying "Hello taxpayers and racist white b*stards, welcome your new leader, and welcome to Zimbabwe 2.0"

Or a little help shielding the empire from a tax evasion enquiry?

I really don't understand what all the fuss is about. Zuma has been visiting and campaigning in churches all over the country and nothing was wrong or controversial then, why is it controversial now all of a sudden after visiting Rhema?

I think it has more to do with the congregation being ambushed.

The church is a house of prayer and worship as someone previously quoted. It was wrong and controversial then too.

We're just to apathetic to make a fuss about it then, for many this is closer to home and therefore they are ready to throw their toys out the cot.
