Executed for what exactly? I don't think HZ would bring it back either if there are any DA voters out there thinking she would.
A homosexual who supports the death penalty. Mmm...I am pro death penalty....BUT....not as the country and its judicial system is now. Fix the courts, fix the police first etc.
The DA has had some pretty right-wing thoughts in the past (like wanting to change to a presidential system) and their right-wing base is growing (which is the problem you come to when you have basically two parties).Executed for what exactly? I don't think HZ would bring it back either if there are any DA voters out there thinking she would.

Of course he won't - most of the gov't are criminals!
The only way to deal with violent criminals is to execute them. Until then SA is a breeding ground for criminals and unfortunately things aren't going to improve here![]()
Fix all the rot, poverty and corruption, and there would hardly be a need for the death penalty, presuming for sake of argument that it would even achieve anything.
Agreed. I still think murderers should be put to death...although in a humane way....lethal injection. I am not a practicing christian..but when it comes to taking someones life...I do believe a eye for a eye and a tooth for a tooth. Klaar gepraat.![]()
Mahatma Ghandi who said, "A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members."
Mistakes have been made, and mistakes always will be made, there's nothing more to be said, from a moral point of view, in my opinion.
But ya, this is an utterly pointless argument, as we both know.
You see. The problem is not that homosexuals can't be mean, I know that full well. My point was that the same progressive world-view that has come to respect the value of life of another human being, also brought about the freedom of sexual orientation. What? Homosexuals cant have a hard stance when it comes to punishing murderers? We can be pretty hard core when we want to be. Hell..some of us are borderline Nazi's..but still soft as a bunny wabbit inside.![]()

It's also about as morally justified as execution, even worse because all criminals would have to do it.This - hard labour turn prsions into slave camps or factorys imagine prisons being profitable, if they work hard they get a bed and meat for dinner.
