So today they say the charges are probably going to be dropped next week.
So lets look at it:
Zuma - president
Shaik - Minister of Finance
Selebi - minister of unsafety and no security.
No do you still want to live here?

heh I was never convinced that Shaik was guilty to begin with, all a political scheme to get to zuma. He is incompetent no doubt, but this whole shaik-zuma- case did not add up.

You see thats where you are wrong. He and Zuma are guilty and anyone who has an ounce of intelligence knows that.
Point is that Mbeki the racist idiot, interfered and screwed up the case to begin with.
Same as Selebi and same as most other political corruption cases.

So the courts were just wrong then? Sheik is as guilty as they come... as is Zuma if you ask me....

wow! marine1 actually said something that makes a lot of sense without blaming the ANC.
Truer words have been spoken, Zuma does have a case to answer, but yes Mbeki & Ngcuka clearly f#$$%d it up & Zuma will get off as result. The case's credibility is in tatters.
Zuma could have gone to jail with his buddy Shaik without Mbeki's unncessary meddling.
Now look where he's left us - stuck with shower! Maybe they should just prosecute him too & get it over with. He f$*&^d up the case for the NPA.
 
Just because there was interference does not make Zuma less guilty. There is NO law that say you are not guilty if there was interference. In fact the NPA can also charge the persons who tried to interfere.
 
You know I have been reading tony Leon's book, in it there is evidence of how racist and sick Mbeki was.
I also thought they were harsh on him but you know what? He deserved it.
He screwed up the country.
He seems to be a real racist.

Yeah Zuma is probably guilty as sin...
But the NPA cannot seriously continue with the case & retain what credibility they still have. People only want Zuma prosecuted to stop him becoming prez. If he were sum average Shmoe you would be in his corner.

But the NPA must look at prosecuting Mbeki's team. And for the good of the country the arms deal must be properly & indepently investigation by a commission & those found to have done wrong must then face the full might of the law. But we know this is not going to benefit the ANC in its current or former self, so it won't happen.

Yeah, Mbeki is a paranoid racist of the worst kind!

the 3 charges shaik was sentence to jail for did not convince me that he did what 90% of the business men in South Africa would do to survive from day to day
15 years to jail because he introduced two people who committed crime?
15 years because he so-called "bribed" people for a deal? honestly, how many companies won't take out serious customers to play golf, to a hunting spree? but that isn't seen as bribing? He got sentence because he wrote of money after a auditor advised him too, How many of you won't do that?

Nope sorry I do not believe he did anything wrong, As for zuma, this case like I said didn't add up for me, regardless of what the judge said. I was shocked to hear Shaiks appeal was turned down to be honest with you.

this whole episode was a ANC conspiracy - a stupid one to just get rid of Zuma, yes I would not be surprised if Mbeki is behind it, the same goes for his "rape case".

and yes Marine1 that book is quite good.

What is the difference between these 2 scenarios and what shaik did? I bet you 90% of the people on these forums who thinks he is guilty didn't even read his case, they just acted out of hatred for the government.

Go read the shaik case and the 3 sentences he got, I find it ridiculous. This does not change my opinion of zuma however who I still think is still a idiot and no, I do not support the ANC or fall for their propaganda (if you even concider it good propaganda).

and no, investing in a product is HORRIBLY different from paying to build someones home and funneling money through them.
 
Plus of course we'll just ignore the fact that this was done with PUBLIC money...

not a private companies money...
 
I am still not convinced if its public money then its bad, if its a companies money that goes bankrupt then its bad management of money? hmm, sounds quite contradicting to me, the government is nothing more then a company that gets it money from charity.
