Unbelievable!

Why can't we have people representing South Africa in the international arena who aren't a total embarrassment? Please!

Don't come here with your logical thinking this man is the best we have as a leader according to the ANC itself and its voters.

My 3 Year old Jack Russel who loves peeing in the kitchen and hunting pigeons could give a better interview.

Mine is only 11 months old and prefers hadedas over pigeons for hunting, but she would also give a better interview than this walking turd.

So the cringe here is that Zuma cannot express himself in English? That's nothing new, maybe he should just begin speaking in Zulu and take along a translator - most leaders including the Chinese do that. I gotta say CCTV simply did one of the canned Zuma interviews the SABC like to do, no real substance to the thing except having to endure Zuma stumbling for correct English terms like consolidated, etc.

It is not about expression. Jacob Zuma is clueless. This man has no idea what an economy is, let alone how to run one. This is evident from this interview. If only he had problems expressing himself, that would be understandable.

English is an international language and everyone should speak it.

He tried that with a signer at Mandela's funeral - did not work out too well either.

He really didn't say anything in that interview. You could have summed it all up in 30 seconds flat.

That's Zuma though, he can ramble on 2 hours straight without saying anything.

Especially if you are a president of a fcking country, but speaking english is not the issue here, comprehension is

What specifically do you have a problem with in his responses to the economy relayed questions? I'm not defending him but the questions weren't very good and you can tell they were drafted to make him look good. If they wanted a real interview they'd interview Pravin but this was all political. I mean all that about Mandela's legacy was unnecessary and transparent.

+ one thousand millions...and se-vent', showerhead.

Comic sans = sarcasm (unless you're viewing the forum on tapatalk or the app in which case you can't tell)

Was never aware that don't shows sarcasm. Thanks for pointing that out.

Isn't it amazing how fascinated he is about China and Jinping (later being the Chinese president and not Zuma's privates) and seems to really want to adopt chinese methodology in SA - pity that the unions have an issue with increasing productivity in this country.

Good thing that no-one really watches the interview and quite bizarre that during the interview the go into an ad-break. I always thought that eastern countries would have deep respect for statesmen, but the reporter (deservedly) showed none for our "go-get 'em" Zuma.
