Its very rare to find a successful honest business person ... every time i get to know someone and think they are, i then find out they not ... so if he did, it would not surprise me ... its a shame really ... and this includes your big corporates, nothing very different from the Government fiascos, just that these guys hide and pay people very well to shut their mouths :)

Dude I agree with you totally on this. Every rich person I know has done some **** deals. F@cking B@stards. Honest guys don't get mega rich, but I rather be honest and sleep well at night. I have a conscience.

Although i agree with most of you concerning the (lack of) ethics etc. behind this case, Zunaid is far from being 'in debt'. I suggest most of you dont waste your energy in (trying to) finding pleasure from this.

denied the opportunity all men think they are honest:D

I've had the opportunity but opted out. If you consider who get's hurt and if you have a conscience, you probably would opt out too.

While I take no pleasure in Moti's problems, if he did anything wrong legally he deserves to be punished. And if he didn't do anything wrong legally but he did stuff that was ethically wrong, I hope he looses his pants.

I'm sick of all these high flyers with their flashy cars and flashy lifestyles who sell 'dreams'. Live by the sword, die by the sword.

I feel for the poor guys who got screwed.

I've never been caught in any sketchy investments, but I've had bad debts in business. Businesses fail, perhaps it's understandable, but what irritates me is those guy who 'pull jobs' or those who ridiculous risks with other peoples money.

Have you read the noseweek article? I know the **** he did, but I'll wait till it's openly proven to comment further.

Cool, but lets keep it clean.
The whole car industry is stuffed, so it makes a little sense why this happened...

Why what happenned? Car Industry? The noseweek article deals with 'shady' dealings on the property side.

interesting regarding people's business dealings, thought id share as this happened today. My Dad did a deal with Shiraz Auto a merc benz dealer on one of the vehicles in Mercs stock. For getting the deal concluded it was agreed that he'd get 1% of the profits which amounted to R5700. After the vehicle was sold, my Dad picks up an envelope and inside is R750! ... now my Dad is a softy, always giving his heart and he kinda goes: "agh its ok, the manager, Shiraz and the allmighty knows what was agreed" ... i am totally sick and tired of these thieves. Its not about the amount of money but ethics ... im sooo angry about this ... and just don't want to sit back and accept this ... my Dad was silly not to have anything in writing, because he is too damn trusting ... and i did confront him in this regard

Shiraz auto is a well to do person, and he robs someone of R5000! ... its like stealing from the poor, because my dad aint the wealthiest man around ...

How much was the car worth if R570,000 profit was being made on it?

101
If the dealers markup was say for argument sake 10% ... Which would mean R57k profit margin ... (not sure on this deal as it was my dads deal) ... Then 1 tenth of this would be? .... Which is the 1 percent i refer to, know that could have confused the math :)

If the markup was R57,000 then 1% of that is R570. Sounds like your dad got a bonus.

Are you sure your dad wasn't supposed to get 10% ?
