Zyban

I'm definitely weighing in to support the use of whatever it takes to kick the habit. For me Zyban worked but I really wanted to give up smoking. What it seemed to do is make you forget the cravings (if that makes sense) even if it didnt remove them. IOW it made them manageable. I smoked for well over two decades and was up to three packs a day for the last few years.

Yea only if you take zyban late will it affect your sleeping, the dreams were amazing, i loved going to sleep just to have those vivid dreams.

Nothing i have ever taken has made my dreams so amazing.
Mefloquine, a prophylaxis against malaria, gives me wicked dreams - more so than Zyban did.

I used Zyban to stop a few years ago. I took the tablets for around 3 months but would recommend a longer period. I didn't and all it took was one hectic party and all resistance crumbled.

I have just started with Zyban again and I aim to have quit by the time I get back into SA (2.5 weeks to go!).

On a side note, although Zyban is an anti-depressant, my wife thought otherwise. My first two weeks after taking the tablets (I only stopped smoking 11 days into it), I was abolutely impossible to live and work with. I was absolutely moerig and would snap at anything. My staff actually went as far as visiting my wife to ask if we had any marital problems. :o I just put it down to withdrawl symptoms though.

But g/l Jewelbox and hang in there!

It's going to be hard but is not as difficult as with out Zyban.

Think of how beautifull your skin is going to be and how good you are going to smell.... lots of perks :)

EDIT: just for your peace of mind try to eat one third less than you used too. I picked up loads of weight but the doc said that if i have eaten less than normal it would not have happened.( i did not snack and pigg out)

Taking zyban for a week now,
It makes me depressed, and i want to smoke even more now.
and my eyes are currently shaking
hope its not a sign of impending seizure

Strange i have been on zyban 2 weeks and i feel better than ever, slightly aggitated but i was like that when smoking.

That pure raw anger is not around which is nice :D

Jabber i suggest you stop and go to see the doctor man, does not sound good. I know there is another one called chantix, not sure if they call it that in this country but it is better some say.

I love zyban actually, my dreams are amazing and i do not crave cigi's at all.
