Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition confirmed for SA
Vodacom, Cell C, Telkom Mobile, and MTN have confirmed that they plan to offer the new Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 edition), with Cell C saying that it hopes for an early Q4 2013 launch.
As with other devices, availability will depend on network testing, Cell C and MTN said, while Telkom Mobile added that it will depend on when Samsung delivers the new Note 10.1 to them.
Spokespeople for the network operators said that pricing details for the new tablet announced by Samsung are not available yet, with MTN saying it only make announcements on this.
A Samsung South Africa spokesperson said that they are unable to confirm details on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition.
However, the original Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is available from operators who have agreed to carry it at a recommended retail price of R9,999, Samsung said.
Samsung announced its new Galaxy Note 10.1 at IFA in Berlin earlier in September 2013, along with a number of new features.
These include an improved S Pen, and better multitasking support with features such as Multi Window.
Multi Window lets users run apps in two different windows – either two different apps, or two instances of the same app.
