Trevor Noah’s US ratings drop drastically
The US ratings for The Daily Show have dropped drastically since Trevor Noah took over, with Nielson stats revealing a 37% viewer decline since 28 September.
Noah took over from Jon Stewart just over a month ago, with his appointment receiving strong approval from South African fans.
While the US viewer slump will be of concern to Comedy Central, there is some good news.
Noah’s reign has seen an increase of 20% in audiences between 18 and 24, and a 44% increase in on-demand streams of the show.
