DStv call centre upgrade underway
MultiChoice is busy upgrading its call centre, the pay TV platform operator recently confirmed to MyBroadband.
“We constantly invest in our customer experience and do upgrades every year,” a spokesperson for MultiChoice said.
The spokesperson said that the inbound call centre infrastructure is being upgraded to a “UIP platform” [Unified IP] from a LAN-based system.
According to MultiChoice, the UIP system is expected to offer better queue management for the call centre.
“This should have a positive impact on the customer experience in our call centre,” MultiChoice said.
MultiChoice said that the call centre is just one of the ways subscribers can contact it, pointing to the DStv Forum, Twitter, Facebook, and self-service at DStv.com as other “touch points”.
