FNB uncapped LTE pilot extended

FNB Internet

FNB has again extended its uncapped LTE trial.

“We have seen that our customers are enjoying our fixed LTE pilot, and have therefore decided to further extend the initiative,” said FNB.

The bank said the new end date for the trial will be 30 November 2016.

FNB has extended its uncapped LTE trial several times since launching it at the end of 2015.

It was originally set to end on 29 February, but was extended to the end of March, then again to the end of June, and a third time to 30 September.

The trial is operated by iBurst, which is rolling out a new national LTE-Advanced network.

Its new network will be marketed under a different brand name, promising high-quality and aggressively-priced connectivity.
