Vodacom data and tablet PC promotions
Tablet PCs are currently all the rage, and Vodacom has joined in the hype by offering two aggressively priced promotions which bundle Samsung Galaxy tablet PCs with 2GB of data per month.
The first promotion offers a Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9-inch tablet PC with 2GB of data per month on a 24-month contract for R329 per month.
The second promotion offers a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1-inch tablet PC with 2GB of data per month on a 24-month contract for R369 per month.
Vodacom’s tablet PC promotion is slightly cheaper than Altech Autopage’s R379 per month for a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and 2GB of data from MTN for R379 per month.
MTN’s offer of a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and 2GB of data for R369 per month however matches Vodacom’s pricing and it includes a free Bluetooth keyboard.
Cell C’s deal of a Samsung Galaxy 10.1 with 200MB of data for R369 per month does not make the grade when compared to Vodacom and Altech Autopage’s promotions.

This promotion also competes directly with the iStore’s iPad and 2GB of MTN data promotions which range between R379 per month (16GB iPad 2 with Wi-Fi + 2GB data) and R489 per month (64GB iPad 2 with Wi-Fi and 3G + 2GB data).
Vodacom’s Samsung Galaxy tablet PC with 2GB of data promotion is available until 7 December 2011 to 6 February 2012.
