MTN slashes data bundle prices

MTN has slashed the price of its standard data bundles which are available to top-up, pre-paid, and contract customers as part of its “Big Data Sale” promotion that is set to end on 30 April 2013.

These price cuts arrive at the same time as MTN’s contract promotions of 1GB at R69 per month and 2GB at R99.

The new MTN data bundle prices are as follows:

• 10MB +10MB free – R10 (no price reduction, 10MB free)
• 75MB + 25MB free – R29 (down from R49, 25MB free)
• 300MB – R79 (down from R149)
• 500MB – R119 (down from R189)
• 1GB – R149 (down from R289)
• 2GB – R245 (down from R389)
