Samsung has confirmed 4 new Android tablet models at its press event during CES 2014 in Las Vegas on 7 January 2014.

The confirmation comes after a billboard was spotted going up at the expo to advertise the new “Pro” line of Samsung tablets, which was followed by “leaked” specifications from @evleaks.

A press release issued by Samsung during its press event confirmed the “leak”, and outlined a number of other key specifications and features.

Note vs Tab features

In particular, while the Galaxy Note Pro and Tab Pro 12.1 seem identical, Samsung confirmed that the Note Pro would ship with an S Pen and would include features specific to the stylus.

These include Action Memo, Scrapbook, Screen Write, S Finder, and Pen Window. According to Samsung, Pen Window lets users draw a window of any size on the screen and instantly access in-application features such as YouTube or a calculator.

Both the Note and Tab Pro 12.2 tablets will feature Multi Window, which enables the device screen to be split into up to four different windows. Samsung promised that its virtual keyboard will provide enough space to type comfortably.
