Google Play drops Google+ integration
Google has dropped the need to have a Google+ account to vote and leave reviews on apps in the Google Play store, Android Police reported.
The +1 button has also disappeared from Google Play, according to the report.
This comes after Google announced it had removed Google+ from YouTube.
YouTube was the first service to have its Google+ integration removed, with the search giant promising that “in the coming months, a Google Account will be all you’ll need to share content, communicate with contacts, create a YouTube channel, and more”.
Google said that changes would happen in stages over several months.
