Microsoft is preparing its next Windows 10 update, codenamed Threshold 2, which will arrive in early November.

According to a report by The Verge, the update will contain fixes and UI upgrades which were meant to be included in the final version of Windows 10.

These will include coloured title bars for desktop apps, improved menus, and an extra column of Live Tiles for the Start menu.

Microsoft will also ship Messaging and Skype Video apps with the Windows 10 update that bring native Skype calling and messaging to the operating system.

The Verge stated that previously-promised extensions for the Microsoft Edge browser will be included in a 2016 update.
