I found this deal at comx-computers : MSI 275GTX OC for R 3,170.00

It looks to be a pretty good deal, unless I missed a better one...? Can I trust them not to steal my money?

they fine; i've used them twice without any issues.

I'm looking at the CPU prices now and noticed that for the same CPU E9550 they are quoting several prices. :D CPU's
So whats going on here? It seems to me they are pulling these items from other sources and just adding their profit.

I've also purchased from them before no probs.
I collect from them, since they close by home (pretoria).... they run a sort of 'home-office', and don't keep any stock, so I guess, with less office overheads, they can afford to offer lower prices.
The only negative is that u need to make deposit first, wait a day for them to get the stuff, then collect.... no rocking up and just 'pick n pay'... but I guess the lower price would make up for that....

The normal Odin's are over-rated pieces of crap. The Odin GT's are their proper psu's, which is why you pay more (R 1,240.00) for a 550W ODIN GT.

woah! If you had to choose between that psu, ocz stealthxstream 600w and corsair TX650w which would you go for?

Corsair's are spoken of very highly + they have a 5 year warranty. Nuff said :p

Yes. I purchased my entire PC from them last year.
Got an awesome special on my LCD screen from them

I also purchased a fairly high-spec laptop from them just last month. Was very nervous about paying almost R14 000 upfront to a company that I'd never done business with before, and so I trawled forums like this to get an idea of people's opinions of them. As that helped me to go ahead with the transaction, I thought I'd also add my two cents' worth, hopefully to help anyone else who may be wrestling with the same dilemma. Anyway, everything went very smoothly with ComX, and I am now the proud and well-satisfied owner of a fairly decent gaming laptop. I had one scare during the process when the delivery arrived and it contained only the laptop bag that I had ordered together with the laptop, but a quick email to ComX confirmed that they send the bags separately from their own premises, whereas the laptop is built for them by the manufacturer and distributed directly from the latter. I then received the laptop a day or two later and have never regretted doing business with ComX. I made the internet transfer on 12 March and had the laptop in my possession on 19 March.

Does anybody know what their delivery charge is? They seem to have what I'm looking for the cheapest.
