Department of Communications in disarray: Parliament

its hard to have morale when your bosses have their hands in the till, while you have to work for a sub-standard salary using disorganized and incoherent information systems.

I think its many peoples mentality that if your have the big desk and shiny car, everything else will just happen automatically.
 
Took Parliament at lot longer to see the mess happening right in front of their noses, while most others were proclaiming it ages ago (which doesn't say much for President Zuma's promise last year to maintain a good house on his watch). Regretfully, it doesn't spell good things for other dysfunctional areas of Government.

Important note to Committee chairman Ismail Vadi: "Yes, it's already gone past being "wholly dysfunctional", and not a "state of virtual disarray".

We can, however, give kudos that they're starting to see the picture as it really is.

....replace 'the DoC' by anything run by the ANC government. Oh, not SARS of-course, then there are no excuses :p
 
Nyanda just has to blame all of his department's problems on Poison Ivy, at the risk of sweeping his current rug into a fully-fledged afro.

The sad thing is that Nyanda does not give a hoot about his department - he just needs a "vehicle" to enrich himself.

That would explain why we're finally seeing improvements in the local broadband / telecomms market!
 
This is getting REALLY boring, and pointless. We had exactly the same thing happen a year or 2 ago, a big hoohaa, lots of shouting and blaming, promises to fix the department, etc. Then they gave us The General after Poison Ivy kicked the bucket, who is turning out to be even worse.

Ismail Vaadi and the PPC are only full of Hot air, like the rest of the ANC.

Why not SARS? Professionally we deal extensively with SARS on a daily basis; they are also slowly slipping into the morass, despite what one reads in the press. Their level of general personnel competency is rapidly declining.

Because they are very efficient when its related to them getting paid.
 
This would not happen in Western Province
All services seem to work there
Is their not a lesson to be learned here
