By "stabalising" he actually means sanitizing. Wannabe dictatorships often insure total control of national broadcasters when they begin the take over.
 
hey, I really hope this minister can achieve his plans ... at least he is making the right noises!

My thoughts exactly. Who the vark cares about the stupid TV station anyway. Why not just shut down it down, we don't actually give a flying continental what they do with station. I have my DSTVz and Interwebz, and gamez. I don't know when last I actually switched to a TV station on SABC.

For years I have seen the article headlines about SABC, and I just skip the article because I don't care. Its another government organization that's been pulled through somebodies rear end.

Nope, don't have to start from scratch again. I saw the headline, skipped the article. Just like I said I did. I can honestly tell you I don't know what the article is about. :D

People who can't afford satellite or can't get e-tv.

Most of these people are the ones blindly voting ANC year after year. You'd think people would be more concerned about the fact that their only source of news and information has its tongue sewn into the ruling party's pants! :D
