Anyone still got an i7 2600k?

Best response I got was: "We have the i7 2600k in stock, it will arrive 3 weeks after your payment." ie no we dont have stock and are waiting like all the other hardware companies but hopefully you are really dumb and give us your money!

Got everything to build my new PC except the brains :(
 
Hang in there, will be worth the wait. Has anyone tried Rectron?
 
This is a bad situation. The online stores seem to make it up as they go with promises of stock. This chip is new and I can't see a valid reason for a lack of stock. I suspect the gap will be used to hike prices.
 
Rebeltech said they would have more stock on Friday (yesterday), but I heard nothing from them and emails were ignored. Feel like I'm getting strung along.
 
does anyone have an account with Rectron, so that I may know if they got stock?
 
They are closed today, so can only check on Monday. They have been mail-bombing on the SB processors over the last few days, but whether they actually have stock or not....

Going to have to wait for Monday.
 
The major countries, i.e. US, EU, ate them. Every non-priority market seems to have shortages, from us here through Singapore and Australia, etc.

K chips seem to be in high demand, probably higher than Intel expected.
 
well they might as well scrap 80% of their production line and put in the sandy bridge line... it puts all the older cpus in the dark

OMG i recall your cocky post about rebeltech having stock, now you moaning because the obvious happened and they just took your money.

Everyone is going to tell you they are getting stock so you will use them. Only an idiot would believe have believed rebeltech over that landmark chap.

I haven't paid yet, and we've yet to see if Landmark can walk the walk. At that time there was another shop with stock, but the price wasn't as good. Including some other items, a R600 difference is compelling reason to wait for a particular vendor to spin-up on stock.

I did notice Landmark telling lies about that screen being new or on special. I think these salespeople are a little too slick for their own good. Two shops actually increased prices as soon as I made an enquiry, which was quite shocking. They're dealing in vapourware if you ask me!
 
What shop had stock, you realize these online shops do not carry stock. So the stock level is mostly dependent on the suppliers having stock as far as i know.

So if your major suppliers have no stock, it is highly unlikely an online shop will have. What shop was it?
 
Nivo had some.

Many online shops will say "in stock with supplier", then can't deliver for weeks (sybaratic). This means they had to get it from source and the claim was a lie. I noticed some have different levels of stocking. In stock with shop, in stock with supplier, or supplier will get some (prophecy). Most don't distinguish between these situations. Most worrying are the dealers that want your money before they even check stock.
 
Woot, think I may have found one! The dealer has one that has been "claimed" but not paid for... *holds thumbs*

Also claims that more stock is coming on monday...*holds thumbs*

OMG im getting desperate!
 
28 Feb apparantly - no stock anywhere .....

Doubt theyve sold so many....
