Dedicated server hosting deals in South Africa compared

Web Africa recently improved their dedicated server hosting offerings, putting pressure on Afrihost, Gamco and Hetzner to follow suit

Bandwidth, bandwidth, bandwidth...

I wish bandwidth costs on dedicated servers in SA would come down and that they'd put bigger drives in. My Hetzner dedicated server is considered full with about 55GB used on the 160GB drive. Disappointing.

Why can't the cheap ADSL bandwidth rates spill over to the hosting / dedicated server market?

Why are Mweb excluded? They are still the best "cost" wise, and more bandwith than most of those thats mentioned.

I am happy hosting overseas for R300 per month I get 3TB of bandwidth per month Try bring me those deals and I will move over now

This prices still need to come down for me to think of SA hosting. it is still cheaper to host somewhere else, come on SA.

Lol, the middle package from Hetzner, 2x1TB hdd's, but only 15 GB/month, even if they're in a striped raid config, it'll take you 68 months to upload it full of content, and that means no downloads or any other traffic...
