No Vodacom signal in Midrand?
Some of my colleagues and I have no signal on Vodacom in Midrand, while others on Vodacom don't have a problem. Whats going on?

Well, since everyone is complaining 
Only get EDGE signal in Braamfontein and LOTS of dropped calls with Slowdacom. I know I sit on the 22nd Floor, but still, I swear there must be 1 tower in the whole of downtown JHB.
Let me not get started on the signal at home in Alberton. Almost as bad. I have looked at coverage maps for both places and I sit slap bang in the middle of dead zones. :-(

Is anybody else got data connection problems in Cape Town?
As u can guess from the title. I am unable to connect to anything data related. I have an N97. I was using Whatsapp this morning and all of a sudden the connection symbol starts flashing then goes off.
I have deleted all the connection settings and "downloaded" new ones from the *111# menu but still nothing. I don't know if its the silly phone or if its VC. I work in the Philippi insustrial area. Smss are working fine. Am I the only 1?

I'm in Vaal and I have full signal. I'm on Cell C.
seems the problem is with 3g on vodacom all over the country, you can fix this temporary by just setting your phone to edge, seems to be working fine.
Vodacom - is there any eta on this issue? as phoning the call center only had them dropping my call.
only thing this day seems to be doing is making having vodacom making their clients red as well

Same here. Been happening more often - especially in the mornings on my way to Cape Town. Quick question: are you on Vodacom?
