Bill Gates to return as Microsft CEO?

Steve Ballmer does not have what it takes to run a successful IT company. Bill Gates has some of the nerd magic that is needed.
 
He probably dropped a pen, picked it up and didn't make his couple of hundred thousand dollars and went "WTF?"
 
Perhaps if Gates returns, Windows 8 would be slightly less abysmal than it appears
to be now. ;)

Kill the "Start Menu", and you've killed everything that could possibly make Windows
preferable to Mac.

Bill could help make Windows 8 a Mac killer or help release Vista Second Edition. Going to be interesting either way.
 
I was under the impression that the new Windows 8 interface is just a layer. Similar to Media Center. The regular start menu is still in the background somewhere.
 
The Metro look has already made it's way onto the Xbox.
 
I saw a website somewhere that had a registry hack where you change the value of a specific reg key from 1 to 0 and its back to the old start menu.

Maybe MS keep it for safe mode or something.
