As someone that also had a bad experince with TRL, I would like to hear your updates too. The only way my debit issues with them seemed to get resolved was to continously nag them until I got a response. So you keep at it and keep us informed
 
Nothing...4-5 emails later....what are the options here, should I go lay a charge? This is ridiculous now!!!

I find it hard to believe that TRL would just ignore your e-mail...you're sure that you are using the [email protected] address? Because earlier this afternoon my seedbox VPS was offline and TRL responded within minutes after I've sent them an e-mail, indicating that they are working to resolve the problem. About 40 minutes later my seedbox was back online. I'm really pleased with the service I've received from TRL so far and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a seedbox.

I believe Eddief did confirm to using the correct address in an earlier post. Doesn't that show that they are definitely avoiding the money-back situation; they replied quickly to you as it wasn't related to money? TRL did the same to me btw; I mailed and mailed with no response when I would speficially ask for a reply or any indication that my mail was read. If they don't want to deal with your problem it seems they just ignore you.
 
I have sent them a few emails this last week. Even got the automated response telling me I will get a response shortly. They have had all week to get back to me, but it seems like they are completely ignoring me. I would recommend any one to stay as far away from these people as possible. They seem to be friendly enough when taking your money, as soon as it comes to the business of returning stolen money, they simply will not bother. The funny thing is they have admitted to making these mistakes to me a few times via email, but simply REFUSE point blank it seems to return my money. They have absolutely no intention to return it, as they have absolutely no intention to even tell me what the hell is going on. I've given up trying to contact this guy. Im now leaving it in the hands of the consumer commission. NOTE TO ALL: Never, and I repeat, never get a debit order with this company. In fact, refrain from even using their service if possible. I hope this thread has been able to do enough damage to the company that it equals out to the money I will probably never see, as they have clearly decided to give their customers the finger. :mad:

And for that matter DO NOT SIGN ANY DEBIT ORDERS ANYWHERE. The current banking system is just not good enough.

I'd rather go with someone like feralhosting, at least with them there is no debit order and you get a lot more for your buck (is slightly more expensive depending on the exchange rate)
 
And the saga continues ... Zero response from TRL/Reuben...naada nothing. And you won't believe me....they sent me an invoice for a service I have cancelled in January...and I guess they will debit my account once more also....What in the heavens is going on with this company, they are clearly ignoring my emails...why try and ignore a problem that is not going to disappear, do they think I am magically going to forget about this...

Seems like Captain Morgan is getting responses using the same email addy as I am, so plain and simple they are ignoring my emails!!!

Reuben I know you read this thread, this scenario you have created with your "customers" is causing unrepairable damage to your company...do you not see this !!! Next thing it's lawyers, arguments maybe even police, why would you want this, I don't understand! all that is needed is some sort of correspondence.
 
eddief1, if they debit your account.. the first thing you do is go into your bank.. get it reversed and lay a charge of fraud against TRL Technologies...


They're clearly ignoring you, so you are not going to get any joy trying to get them to refund you, you may as well take the next step and get the law involved.

I agree on this. Rather stop it sooner than later.
 
OK guys I am fed up with these people, they are blatantly ignoring us...If anyone has details on TRL can they please PM me. Looking for contact numbers, physical address, etc. Are they in Humansdorp, Uitenhage or PE? Any help would be appreciated.

Im pretty sure the IQ of these people are in single digits. That is pretty much the same email I got about two weeks ago. I have stated it so many times I am absolutely irritated beyond belief, that IM NOT LOOKING FOR CREDIT. IM LOOKING FOR A REFUND. God, if they were in the same versinity as me, Im so fed up id literally slash their tyres once for every week I have had to wait. Let me clarify the idiocy of their accounts department: Even after I cancelled the account, Im still getting invoices twice a month (of course twice a month..) and still getting allocated credit for something Im not even using. Even a two weeks before when they told me I had credit my mom, and I, sent them emails to give us a refund instead. Whats there reply? Dear customer, you have credit. Thanks for not doing any thing I have asked :) Moosa, moosa. Its still in the hands of the consumer protection, I just sent them all the proof they need today. Lets see how efficient they are!

To eddie: They are based in Uitenhage AFAIK. I see Reuben took off his cell phone number from the website, which was intended for emergency calls. If any one needs to contact him due to an emergency, I might still have it, just PM me. I doubt he will answer though, the calls are always cancelled after a ring or two.

The credit can then be used to settle invoices or to order new services.

Lets see if management can "approve" of this, and if im lucky enough to hear back from them in the next week.
