Please also tell us how @lantic/Vox Telecom can improve to make you a happier customer.
 
I did not join @lantic by choice but wound up with them when my previous ISP, XSinet, was bought out by them. XSinet was fantastic and I referred about 30 customers to them. When @lantic took over everything went to hell. After 6 months of problems and non existent service I closed my account and move to Webonline, who are fantastic. Most of the people I originally referred to XSinet have also closed down their Alantic accoint.
 
I actually still have an e-mail I sent to their helpdesk middle Sep 2011. Must have been a difficult query, as I never received a reply.
 
My speeds are slow and I have high latency at times. Other than that, It's quite stable. Even when I have 100% signal I still have bad speeds. :/
 
There guys are overpriced con artists and I hate them all. Give me a WMD and I would aim it right at these clowns. Haven't been with them for nearly 2 years (and didn't vote), but my parents are with them still(?!) and its a nightmare to end all nightmares.
 
The grass is not always greener on the other side, for those who think you will get better customer service from other Service providers than @lantic think again. Mostly to blame for most problems on Adsl is the big telecommunication giant Telkom not @lantic.
Not like some people who had a bad experience with their internet connection and as result of a problem on Telkom’s side and now blames @lantic, get your fact’s together before commenting.
I am sure if you do your homework you will see what I am talking about.

When your line tests fine at telkom & runs well when adding another ISP's details - who's fault is it then?

When you resell their product on their behalf & you don't even get proper support from them & stop selling their product & then slowly move all your clients over to other providers coz these customers get fed up with the lak of service. Who's fault is it then?
 
I am a old absa internet client and I have to say now there are a lot more problems on my account then when I was with absa. the user interface on the AIA site is so buggy. The pings are gr8 on my unshaped account but the speeds are horrible in day time i only get 0.9Mb out of my 3.7Mb.
 
As of today I am no longer a vox/@lantic client and have a few more days for my email. The cherry was on the top was just into the new month my internet went down and and they blamed everyone else so I had already given notice of the termination, today my 3gig bandwith ran out. Within minutes I was up up and running with Telkom and I am saving money in the process.
