G-Connect uncapped ADSL with wings

Nicely played by G-Connect ! Also "appreciating" uncapped offering for users still on the 384k !
 
Almost every ISP is dropping their Uncapped prices, EXCEPT AFRIHOST!!!!! :mad:

Just drop the prices and get it over with, what is the point in letting us wait! Seriously! :confused:
 
I used afrihosts uncapped when they had their 1 month free trial. Its the most shocking account in teh world. Can't believe you still with them.

But Well played G-Connect, thats a very fine offering.
 
They undercut MWEB's pricing, but is it comparable to MWEB's quality? And which backbone/upstream provider are they using? Is it still Vodacom? Also, not much difference on the 4mbps deal.

Which ISP offers the best deal on 4mbps? Paying R539 to MWEB each month is starting to get ridiculous. Pricing should be closer to R439.
 
Good pricing from G-Connect and a real bonus that they throw in free Wi-Fi (including in-flight Wi-Fi).

How good is G-connects quality?

I'm currently on Openweb 384 uncapped, got the special for R109 pm. It's decent, but I do get throttled badly sometimes during the day. Having said that, Im quite happy with them

Strange, when I said that I was literally drowned out by MWEB fanboys defending their ISP's absorption of their potential discount in the name of building market share in the 384 to 1meg range ..

Please make an immediate appointment for re-orientation, your programming is obviously starting to wear off.
 
What upstream provider is G-Connect using? If it's just another "IS" reseller then who cares.. I vaguely recall something about free wifi with MWEB, anyone know the exact details?

They just slashed the prices of the business uncapped packages, what the hell, what about the normal packages??

If they dont drop the prices very very soon then i'm going to sign up at another ISP, cause im just waiting for the prices to drop so I can sign-up.

LOL. I like to be realistic. MWEB currently does have the best uncapped product, but it's time we got a price cut, or better still, it's time the other ISP's started offering us MWEB-quality uncapped. Now I recall GConnect being a product of WirelessG, which is partly owned by Vodacom, hence why I believe that their backbone provide is Vodacom.

So if their quality is up their with MWEB's, then it will be a good alternative to the cheap nasty IS-based accounts, and the over-priced MWEB accounts.

MWEB know that they can keep their pricing high, because nobody else can offer what they are currently offering. They need some competition.
