Fighting against faster mobile broadband in SA

Didnt they learn anything from the iBurst tower fiasco, where they still complained of symptoms even though the tower was "switched off" for six months :sick:

I mean when will these people get a life and get use to the fact that there are tuns of studies proving that RF at those frequencies does absolutely nothing to the human body.
 
Now I don't like Vodacom, but why not switch all the base stations off in the area? Then you will see everyone change their tune.
 
None of the articles cite research on the impact of slow Internet access on people in the area, or about the potential envy of not having LTE access while their friends in other areas boast about broadband speeds of over 50Mbps.

I think the MNOs should respect their wishes and not construct radiating towers within 500m or whatever of their complaint area and send out a communique to all and sundry that the consequence of not establishing towers is that each cellphone is going to emit more. Then send out health inspectors and ICASA designated radiation monitoring inspectors with municipal by-law enforcement and confiscate devices in the area that exceed the limits currently set down and give out warning directives to those persons with devices in the upper part of the limit.

HOW can this this nutjob, or any of her crackpot cohorts, have ANY credibility when they actually *USE* the very evil they're working so very hard to decry??!

Moreover, one wonders if her precious children from that posh area are the only ones in their school sans a cell ..and how mommy-maddest manages to keep in touch with them.

Just to get you on record on this; You're happy that the networks do not try and improve coverage and speed? Yes or no?
 
On record, clearly according to the powers that be, they have been doing how many upgrades over the past few years???
The network has never been worse so clearly these "upgrades" 1) don't do anything or 2) never really happened.

If this is what level of quality and reliability the upgrades bring then no , I would rather they don't do it.
All this sounds like is an axe to grind from the iburst days.

Jannie, you can come and install their LTE equipment at Thrupps Shopping Centre, or are you already doing that ?

Next thing is to let me use LTE on my Top Up contracts, I will buy my own modem from Germany (E398).
