Hello All

Firstly we would like to Thank You, our valued clients on the suggestion of creating our new E-Catalogue , you will glad to know that we have just implemented a “ New Way” on how you would receive our daily specials,please click on the link: http://www.esquire.co.za/specials/Esquire_Special.html

We will also eventually be doing away with emailing you our daily specials, instead we will be sending you a daily reminder in text format and the link to the new E-Catalogue.

The E-Catalogue will be updated daily, with the latest products and gadgets specials we have on offer, as well as our weekly "ESQUIRER" Newsletter and Product Information, The E-Catalogue can also be found on our website under the Specials Tab

Please Note that todays E-Catalogue (Specials) is on a trial basis and some more work still needs to done over the next few days to enhance the aesthetics of the pages, so refresh the page as often as you like to see the updates.

Cape Town clients look at the Bargain Page as there is some really crazy specials to clear out those one and two’s of an item that we have in that branch-some more items will be added over the next few days .

We look forward to your comments and suggestions to [email protected] or drop me a PM

Regards
ESQ

i foresee many mobile user issues such as blackberrys, iphones etc. I use my blackberry to check the specials, however im not to sure this will work on it. Dont get me wrong, this is the future of advertising....gives the reader a sense of reading an actual newspaper...just on their pc, however there will probably have to be many tweaks to this before it is 100% perfect.

Thank you All for the feedback it is much appreciated ,
I just spoke to my marketing guy a few minutes ago , he says he working on getting the specials to work on Tablets, Blackberry etc, in fact he knows how to get it to work just did not have time today , promised it will be fixed it the morning ,
@Snail you correct it is the Mede8er 1000x 3D

Nice catalog. Works really well.

I'd consider doing something about the page number 31-32/99 is just weird to read even if it is accurate.

Also not a fan of the random manufacture logos stuck in random places - makes it look pasted together. I'd just remove them completely -> cleaner look.

On the whole though really nice.

No desktop PC specials? Maybe a N40L or something? ;)

Re: The ecat

Works quite nice. Although I love getting those specials emails during the week - can at any time flick open my email and have a browse while standing in some queue. While it won't be the end of the world if you do take it away, I would still prefer it if I could still somehow access it using an ancient mobile phone with plain GPRS capabilities. Eg. rip the electronic pages to JPGs and dump them in a public folder on your server.

Well done on the new catalogue! I think that it really helps to showcase the specials.

@Snail you correct it is the Mede8er 1000x 3D

If that price of R1899 (excl. VAT) is correct this is the cheapest that I've seen the 1000X3D on sale for by nearly a R1000!
