Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE issues in South Africa explained

Wherr is Note 2 LTE

I would like Vodacom to explain where is the Galaxy Note 2 LTE. I don't think they ever had it even though its being advertised for a month now.

Why you need LTE when mobile data is so expensive?!?!....So you can spend your money ten times faster :/
HSDPA is sufficient, otherwise most ppl are running off Wi-Fi anyway..

Bring down the data costs first..

Well I'm still waiting for my Galaxy S III LTE, the still can't say when it will be available in Cape Town, again despite advertising from the beginning of November

makes me wonder how many users would have an okay experience in their LTE coverage area. It's like complaining that Vodacom/MTN/others can not get 3G rolled out and 80% of the time users connect via Edge (uh well, at least this is my experience)

From day one..whn i gt this handset last year, i had the "not registered on network "error
I noticed that each time i hit n LTE area, the phones data connection would die but still show network signal...try to make a call, phone is dead, no network..

TEMP FIX-under the settings, change from LTE(auto) to wcdma, this worked for me, was able to use the data under 3g connection and have access to the network.

So i took the handset in to the voda walk in cntr..guy did say tht he saw this previously with the LTE version of the s3..sadly, this is a network issue..only fix they could offer was a change of network.
no sim swap will help, no firmware will help aswell, the handset came preloaded with vodacoms settings aswell.

I called vodacom today..only to discover that LTE service was NOT enabled on myline...now the activation is done, will test later this evening and get back to u guys

Quick one-whn looking for a LTE handset on vodacom contracts, the sales person wil try nand give you a normal s3 under the LTE special..so be weary..i called and visited plenty stroes, all advised me that they DID have the 4g handset..but they all lied..so js be carefull
