All I care about is that they fix the WiFi stability issues. Not really interested in LTE... My speeds on HSPA+ are above Vodacom's suggested LTE average at present. The last time we had inside information we were told that 20 gig vodacom special will run again in December. I hope it is not the same birdie this time.
Hope there will be lots of improvements in 6.1
Wonder if this will include CellC?

I am interested in LTE AND I want my wifi stability issue fixed! All my other iOS devices work perfectly on home wifi but iPhone 5 is very sporadic and sometimes won't even connect. Extremely annoying to say the least. Hope version 6.1 fixes it.
i had to reset my network settings to get it to connect to my hotspot again.
Been announced on twitter. 6.1 is out. Officially. Is this what u are running?
I can confirm that there is still no LTE support for iPhone 5 with ios 6.1.
I am running iOS 6.1 beta 5, which is actually now the public release. No LTE support as far as I can see.
Edit: It seems that only Vodacom has been added. See www.apple.com/iphone/LTE/
Remember that you must activate the LTE APN as well and have a contract SIM fo LTE t owork on the iPhone 5
I'm on MTN, so I wont be getting LTE either way.
