8ta mobile broadband specials coming to an end

Yeah, 8ta acted nice and independently from Telkom and had some nice aggressive specials and as soon as Telkom became more involved the first decision they took........

Well if they end the specials, they will simply lose my business. Very simple.

That's why they were called specials, if they keep those prices they will not be in business much longer. 8ta is already a money black-hole for Telkom as it is.

Yeah, but if they have surplus capacity on their network (per their own admission) then why not at least generate some cash by offering more data specials?

telkom business has 15GIG MONTH TO MONTH @R249

My 10GB+10GB contract expires in November 2013. Has anyone signed up for a second concurrent contract? Not sure if I should, even if I can. I'll probably just go with the promos offered in December 2013. Otherwise I'll have to pay R300x8=R2400 till November, for data that I don't really need.

I signed up for a second concurrent contract last year. The first one I took out ends in August 2013, and the second one ends in August 2014.

When our contract ends....will it continue month to month, or will they cut us off entirely ?

Apparently it continues month to month on normal pricing. This is from their terms and conditions:

Subscribers shall be migrated to any of the existing internet data offers at the end of the 24 month contract period.

Make sure you get it cancelled otherwise the price is over R1k.

Oh,....that sux. Wonder what specials they will bring out to replace? 20GB pre-paid under R500 would be welcomed 8ta.

Anyway.....henceforth any special running over 3 months should be deemed regular price.:D

just got this promo a few moments ago, I had no idea it was ending today. I've a funny feeling I'm to regret my decision...
