So I have a client who has a TV in the living room and in his bedroom. He wants the same signal from his HD-PVR on both TVs. We already ran another HDMi cable through the wall. Where can I get a splitter or switch box?

Thanks guys, was hoping for something a bit cheaper, but that will have to do!

Problem with the HDPVR is the HDCP stuff.. and you don't really get cheap options for splitting the signal :(

Is it just me or does the Ellies brand make el Cheapo stuff.
It just doen't look very good quality to me.

I'm not a fan of the majority of Ellies stuff, at least the stuff thats sold in most stores because yeah its cheap...

They do make some good stuff, but you kind of need to go to their own direct shop.

I need something similar but multiple inputs to one output. Has to be HDCP compliant (?) so as the DStv HD PVR can be one of the inputs. I have one which was cheap and works well with everything ...except DStv

Any suggestions? i.e. something that will definitely work with the PVR's finicky HDCP issues?

Thanks

EDIT:

Found this: 4x2-4-inputs-2-outputs-true-matrix-powered-switch-splitter

Just what I'm looking for and seems like it should work (being HDCP version: 1.2). Rather price though :(

EDIT 2:

This could work and it's much, much cheaper but doesn't have the dual output (which I wanted).

I've got one of these and can watch HD DSTV, Xbox and stream Bluray ISO from my media play - all through this matrix. Doesn't however do 3d I don't think.

It might not be able to transmit the 3D signal but you should still be able to watch 3D by manually selecting the 3D source on your Television (Side by Side, Over Under, etc). I have a 4 x 4 Matrix Splitter that only supports HDMI 1.3b but can still watch 3D

For any future purchases, please consider our store. You might be pleasantly surprised by our prices
