Hi There,

I about to sign up for an MWEB uncapped account (Simply because I dont own the line and they offer the uncapped with line option)
There will be torrents, gaming, You Tube uploading and viewing and basic Web browsing. About 4 users at once and only one doing heavy work.

I have read that for torrents that you should look for a router with a large NAT Table
As Well as the chip set is important for gaming :wtf:

So I was looking at the following two routers.

1) B-7800N Billion 7800N 802.11n Dual WAN ADSL2+/Broadband Firewall Router @ R1343.85 from http://www.webantics.co.za/viewItem.aspx?idProduct=11357

2) TP-Link N900 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router TL-WDR4900 @ R1175 from http://www.bidorbuy.co.za/item/94251253/TP_Link_WDR4900_Wireless_N900_Dual_Band_Gigabit_Router.html

Are these Routers a complete over kill?
Which one is better there is not much cash difference?

The wireless range is for a single story house with 6 rooms (TV room, kitchen and alles included)

Thanks in advanced for all your help :D

Hi Brad,

As far as I know the TP-Link that you posted a link to is just a router, you'll need to purchase a modem then as well. If you want to go TP Link then here is their latest wireless router + modem AFAIK http://www.dbg.co.za/product_info.php?products_id=894&osCsid=3aqeros71t0cqo8lbsgjveclm3

I can't say which one has better wireless range as I have not used either, but I'm sure both should be more than adequate for gaming.

Edit: The TP-Link I posted is not a dual-band router in case you are specifically looking for dual-band.
