Apps utilising the iOS7 SDK / UI won't be available until after iOS 7 is officially launched: Apple won't certify any apps with the new features until then.

well obviously...

anyone else having issues with flashlight being disabled in control Center, when you actually need it?

Here's a request… not that it was ever an issue for me but people moaned that the clock didn't show the current time - iow it was static - now that it does why not make the face bigger so people can actually see it?

Also now that spotlight is a pull down why not make it so that scrolling between springboards is circular so you if you continue swiping after your last one is goes directly to the first again.

And you could pinch to see all your screens. Sounds fantastic, my friends using Android use it all the time. But iOS 7 looks awesome. I would love to download the beta but I'm not sure I would handle the instability well.

iOS 7 Beta 4 released.

MacRumors Forum poster aibnr noticed earlier today that the iOS 7 Beta 4 download appeared to be posted on Apple's developer servers early this morning, ahead of an expected release today. If released today, Beta 4, with a rumored build number of 11a4435d, would come three weeks after Beta 3 was released at the beginning of July.

It's fine, quite a few bugs have been fixed.

Where can 1 get it from if not a dev?

Just want to mess about with it on my iPod Touch

Going to keep an eye on this thread. If it is stable enough to run without any real headaches I would probably run it. Really keen to start using iOS7.

also running beta 4 now and so far i have noticed all my issues with beta 3 has been addressed and as well UI is much more smoother! and consistent.

good job on this one

Definitely smoother and faster - battery life seems a lot better too.

Beta 4 Really feels quite stable i must admit!

And also is a tad bit more responsive.

edit: It also seems a little more rounded off especially the call screen etc.

How is this beta? Stable enough to run on my main device? Can you still load it without a UDID slot?

Very stable but a number of compatibility issues with various apps IE Skype...

Running it on my iPad 4 and its a keeper. Beta's 1,2 and 3 weren't usable IMHO.

I updated my iPod touch 5G to IOS 7 Beta 4 without restoring to original first

Download the beta 4 files from Here

Go to iTunes - hold down Shift and click on update - select the beta file and let it update

Done

You have to be on the latest official Apple firmware before doing this.
Here is the Link for the original files

If you need help converting from a .dmg file to .ipsw let me know.

Tested and confirmed working on my iPod Touch 5G 32GB
