Windows 8.1 heads for consumer release

In W& I could hibernate my notebook in 2 clicks. Now it takes a swipe and 3 clikcs.
Go figure
 
I'm curious as to the pricing.

Windows 8 was the Cheapest Windows ever, and it bombed worst than Vista dispite this.

If MS doesn't offer cheap introductory offers then I suspect 8.1 won't make a blip.

Install classic shell (Its free + Open source) and Tada, no more excuses.


Windows 8.1 + Classic shell (Only reason my bar is on top is because I am use to it thanks to Gnome)

You get all the benefits of Windows 8 with none of that ModernUI hick-ups/problems.
