Telkom ADSL free data promotion – prices compared

Does Afrihost have a crystal ball, I swear they are playing chess and the rest are playing checkers. I can't wait to see what they are going to do with their capped accounts :)
 
Weak comparison. Telkom offers are a time limited promotional deal - the offers its being compared to at a permanent pricing level. Come back when Telkom offers solid deals on a permanent basis without 24 month contracts.
 
I'll hazard a guess that the promotion will become standard pricing in a few months time. It's happened before if memory serves.

Perhaps. Its not the same though. Promotion has marketing department written all over it though...
 
Wonder if Afrihost will bring back their "double data" promotion that was abruptly stopped at the end of July 2013, otherwise at R790 per 100GB they are almost the most expensive. I honestly think that R400 is the sweetspot for a 100GB capped, unshaped account.
 
Maybe, just maybe TI is actually able to do something right? I'm happy to give them a chance especially since their recent problems seem to be sorted out. But then for me a 20GB ( +20) capped account is good enough (for now anyway). Let's just hope "promotion" becomes permanent while we dream about line rental pricing being made more realistic.

What does the line rental has to do with this promotion? I thought the line rental was common to every DSL user in SA regardless of which ISP they use. May be I am missing something here. Jannie please eishplane.
