Samsung Galaxy S4 Android 4.3 update in South Africa

I'm a Samsung fan, but it really irritates me how quickly they forget about supporting their older products i.e. the S3 :erm:

You sure about that? Comparatively I think they're doing a much better job than their competition.
 
A mate of mine is on MTN and they seem to be battling giving him any sort of ETA for this update..
 
What does it matter?

here is the logic.
you care about the difference between 4.2.2 and 4.3. you understand what the difference is and you want the upgrade. chances are you had it 6 months ago via the custom ROM you are running.

You dont understand the difference, you are an average user, you dont have a custom ROM, and when the update gets pushed out there have been 100 000 of the cases mentioned above complaining about a problem that has gotten fixed, so the delay is because it got tested for those who would never use the features that were broken.


Custom ROM FTW!!!!

The same local service providers that are pushing the latest phones and don't give a damn about their existing customers that are already locked into their 2 year contracts?

I know that, I'm surprised they're still pushing 4.3 when there's 4.4. Don't the carriers get the "GM" from Google before everyone else to test prior to the public launch?
