only bottom after 80% correction... only halfway there. at-least thats what parabolic corrections say should happen.
but lets see....

at this point news has minimum effect on price.

Something about 'its illegal to ban crypto currencies', ie gov not allowed to, or even have a say in what people do with it, eg. if people want to accept it for services etc, its up to them, as long as gov gets it tax cut
Regulations have come through, just basic fica stuff so people are tax compliant, which will be tracked by banks when people cash out, ie, nothing different to anywhere else in the world
Well, thats basically what I understand so far, correct me if I'm wrong
 
Strong pump happening at the moment. It needs to break above $11k and consolidate for a few hours.
 
A lot of monkeys lived near a village.

One day a merchant came to the village to buy these monkeys!

He announced that he would buy the monkeys @ $100 each.

The villagers thought that this man was mad.

They thought how can somebody buy stray monkeys at $100 each?

Still, some people caught some monkeys and gave them to this merchant and he gave $100 for each monkey.

This news spread like wildfire and people caught monkeys and sold them to the merchant.

After a few days, the merchant announced that he would buy monkeys @ 200 each.

The lazy villagers also ran around to catch the remaining monkeys!

They sold the remaining monkeys @ 200 each.

Then the merchant announced that he would buy monkeys @ 500 each!

The villagers started to lose sleep! ... They caught six or seven monkeys, which was all that was left and got 500 each.

The villagers were waiting anxiously for the next announcement.

Then the merchant announced that he was going home for a week and when he returned, he would buy monkeys @ 1000 each!

He asked his employee to take care of the monkeys he bought. He was alone taking care of all the monkeys in a cage.

The merchant went home.



The villagers were very sad as there were no more monkeys left for them to sell at $1000 each.☹

Then the employee told them that he would sell some monkeys @ 700 each secretly.

This news spread like fire. Since the merchant would buy the monkeys @ 1000 each, there would be a 300 profit for each monkey.

The next day, villagers made a queue near the monkey cage.

The employee sold all the monkeys at 700 each. The rich bought monkeys in big lots. The poor borrowed money from money lenders and also bought monkeys!

The villagers took care of their monkeys & waited for the merchant to return.

But nobody came! ... Then they ran to the employee..

But he had already left too !

The villagers then realised that they had bought the useless stray monkeys @ 700 each and were unable to sell them!

The Bitcoin will be the next monkey business

It will make a lot of people bankrupt and a few people filthy rich in this monkey business.

That's how it will work.

One has to ask who started the HODL thing. And those encouraging others to buy more and more.
 
Not sure why people have bot(s) running buying/selling lots of very tiny amounts at certain times. Is it to try and manipulate the price by making it seem like lots of people are selling/buying sometimes? The volumes are hardly noteworthy and barely makes a dent on the order book.

And just like that story - the blame will lie entirely with the people who treat crypto investments like monkey business. They do no research, pay zero attention to price history, have never even looked at a chart and yet jump right in with their money. If you took the same approach with the stock market you'd also be seeing your monkey-ass in no time.

Your story is cute, but it actually concurs with the sentiment most people in this thread share:

Don't be a monkey.
Think and invest wisely.

Nice copy paste. Don't 've a chump and believe everything you read, rather research something properly before diving in the deep end.

Green and red line denote trends. Orange line is an indicator of the direction the price is heading.

Obviously the graph is an indication only , and is not going to be perfect.

The market made a huge U turn today?

No doubt in my mind that mass market manipulation is in play!

If I was trading this I'd be watching to see what happens if/when it falls to the 200 day EMA at around $9k. It would mark the first time in recent history that it hits that marker & I'd be quite surprised to see it go lower.

I don't really believe in prices moving towards the average. If that were true then it would stabilize around a price and not move much but as we've seen there are huge movements up and down away from the average. Like the move from $5k to $19k for example. If you were looking at moving averages you would always think that the price was going to go down instead of up.

Essentially what a moving average chart is saying is "Oh it went up too much so it must come down. Just because."
