For months on end I have noticed that due to my job and hobby/pass time, I end up with those eye headaches quite often. I am in front of the computer almost the entire day at work, Monday to Friday, 8 to 4.30. I say almost the entire day, as sometimes, for an hour or 2, I have to do physical compilation of files based on the work I was just performing on the computer.

I get home and I am glued to an LCD, either TV or PC Screen, for about 3 hours playing playstation, watching something or fooling around on my PC. On fridays, this 3 hours extends to 6+ hours. Saturdays and Sundays its anywhere in the range of 6-12hours of Screen time a day.

Basically this is just to put it into perspective, the time I spend in front of a Screen a week. This really did start being a trouble to my eyes. After Months of just trying to ignore it, I found Gunnar Glasses advertised in a shop and did some research and was shocked there may actually be a solution to my problems. Being Christmas, I had extra cash and decided to gift myself, and bought a pair of GUNNAR gaming glasses. Best decision I have ever made. Since then, I have not had those eye headaches.

The question is, do they really work, I strongly believe they do. Well not actually believe, I KNOW they do work. So if your problem is like mine, eye headaches, dry eyes and just scarred of straining your eyes to a point you will need prescriptions glasses, give these a try. I know they are a bit expensive in todays economy, but look at it this way, its an investment for your eyes. :)

Are these those orange lenses one? I have seen them in Incredible Connection for R650. I watch a lot of League of Legends LCS and there are quite a few of professional gamers that use it. Good thread. I was actually contemplating getting a pair. Thanks.

I don't have the same issue.
8 hours a day at work on a PC.
3-4 hours of TV or PC in the evenings.
Wknds it varies.

At last, A Gunnar thread that's not a copy / paste from an advert. I take a bit of strain because I'm in front of a screen at work, then most of the time again at home.

Would like to hear from more people if spending the R650 is worth it though.

Yeah those are the exact ones. The other interesting thing about them is they do not hurt your head when using headphones(PS3 7.1- those big tight over-ear headphones) which I would think, actually does hurt if using glasses with the usual ear hook things.

I hope I have helped in your decision making of paying these. Just so you know, I am in no way a seller or anything of these. Just highly recommend these.

I suppose not all individuals take the same strain as others. They are apparently many other issues that people would experience that this helps with, for me it was mainly the headaches and the eye dryness.

I would also like to hear from others if they feel the same. Will be interesting to hear different views. Just to see if it is just me or theres others that feel the same about these.
