Does anybody know anything about this new phone on kalahari.com.

I was actually thinking of getting one but if it doesn't have 3G then it's like I'm buying a present day 3310
 
I have a Gobii smartphone and it has dual sims and certainly has 3G ......which I might add works very effectively? Both models have 3G. The resolution is good as it has an IPS screen.

LOL battery life is crap

Standby: 72hrs*
Video: 3hrs*
Audio: 4hrs*
Game play: 2hrs*
Web browsing: 4.5hrs
(*Wifi and 3G switched off)
 
Also still on JB, when will OEMS start putting Kitkat as the OS, it's only been out for oh I don't know 8 months already.
 
Can both sims be used at the same time? ie one sim for data, and another for calls?

The biggest gripe I have is the changes they made to the notification bar, especially the wireless/3g icon, which no longer shows traffic at a glance. They also removed access to battery stats, unless you're rooted and running an exposed module.

Whether you like it or not, there still are a whole bunch of apps that are broken because of kitkat (something as trivial as the Striata Reader for instance). My personal experience is that apps in folders sometimes took 3 or 4 taps to start, which is why I went back to 4.3.

also, kitkat broke sd card support.

And this is why you should not get this horrible cheapskate phone.

Or buy one and give it to someone you really don't like.

Nope looks like Jelly bean did :-( 4.2 to be precise as my Xperia Z cannot save applications to the sd card either, my s4 couldn't after updating to 4.2 onwards either.
