Hi Guys

Apologies if this is posted in the wrong forum, but I have an issue where we have 3 PC's, all running the same Outlook 2003 with Windows XP (same SP).

The one PC is giving issues whereby it can "flag" and "clear flag" messages in it's own Inbox, but when you try to flag or clear flags on the server (iMap) it doesn't do a thing! (The other two still works).

I have started Outlook in Safe Mode, still the same.

Could it be that, that specific Outlook client has reached it's maximum number of "flags" or (actions) and now cannot clear or flag no more? If so, how to fix... re-install?

Any ideas would be welcome as I have search the entire Google. Or almost.

Time for an upgrade dont you think? At least Office 2007.

Yea I know, if it was my PC's... but it's for the lady I work with and she is not upgrading for a while :O

She is rather old (and old-fashioned) so she doesn't want to upgrade.

Fact is, she now has this problem where a message cannot be flagged (or cleared).

I'll make another post "How to get someone to upgrade Windows & Office..."

Tell her Microsoft doesn't support 2003 products anymore, nor do they support Windows XP. It's been 11 years, she needs to upgrade (or maybe use Thunderbird, which is free)

Thanks for the reply COMPUTEK

I have checked the add-in's as you mentioned. The only add-on there is, is an IMAP one.
By holding CTRL and starting Outlook you have the option to start outlook in Safe Mode, which by default disable all these.
I have in any case checked that manually as you mentioned with still no joy. :(

It really seems like Outlook's memory or something is full and doesn't even have enough resources (or whatever) available to let you clear any of the existing flags. Weird!
