Vox Telecom Fatpipe

Must say mine was flying last night. Used up some of my rollover.

But Pretoria so maybe we are fine.

seriously high latency playing my games again... dont know what to do anymore. Its been like this for a week.

Having issues with youtube streaming. Buffers a lot on my 40 Mbps line :( Stats for nerds showed 895Kbps at one stage and then after letting it buffer went up to 1900Kbps

Cape Town Northern Subs

For the 3 or 4 days I have been getting massive latency in RocketLeague. For half a game I'll have the usual 180ms, but then it'll shoot up to 700ish and stay there for a few minutes. It makes playing completely impossible. I've tried disconnecting every other device, and it isn't something on my side. Whatsup?
Also, right now I'm downloading a file from OneDrive and it is going at 4KB/s for a while, then a few seconds at 1MB/s, then down again. I can barely load MyBB.

Are these issues the norm or exceptions as I never have problems. Unfortunately I will be cancelling my vox fatpipe 150 promo as I am using the telkom lte promo and happy with it. Providing me with smooth streaming.
Thought of passing on promo but with all the complaints with lack of response by Vox I have decided to rather cancel as risk is someone else may experience this. Personally I have no issues but may be I am the exception as I run it now as simply a downloader.

Since Chris left - the support on the forum is non-existent. They should have done everything in their power to keep him. First (and last) honest ISP guy. Actually just thinking about it - DJ from Crystal Web is also very active and helpful on the forum.

Please Vox - get more support on the forum and honestly let everyone know what is happening. Where the problems currently lie i.e. are you having capacity issues? You win more trust with honesty then "have you reset your router, has your port been reset, what DNS are you using?" Most people do the basic stuff before they start asking what the problem could be.

@hayted - I haven't been following. He left support or he left the company? Either way that is sad :(

Damn.

I'm at the point where I might need to use my free Afrihost account to play RocketLeague. Eek :-/

I'm having a issue with Netflix on iPad and a Smart TV where I have tested the internet and network speed where both are perfect and it works perfectly on Windows, I already have the feeling it's going to take me a long time to have it fixed, where I'm sure if Chris helped me it would've been done and dusted by now.

@roguemat - sorry man, only saw this now but Soul Assassin is spot on. He was a great asset to Vox and helped a lot of us out.

Is anyone experiencing random disconnects? Everything is running fine and my line is syncing 100%, I then get disconnected for a couple of seconds, line still syncing. My POTS filter has been blamed and I subsequently replaced it but no joy...

Yup, getting the same for the last three days or so.

Absolutely hopeless today, ping of 800ms and 1mb on 4mb line. Pathetic
