ADSL is dog slow today - anyone else experiencing same?

Anyone else experiencing terrible speeds today on all protocols - on a 4MB line and cannot seem to get more than 40KB on http, 12kb on nntp and streaming is just not happening.

Seemd to start at 01h00 this morning, on the dot, with a couple of 80kb bursts for an hour each at 03h15, 06h00 and 06h15 today - rest of the day any protocol has not gone over 40.
This is just like the old dialup days...

ISP confirms line connection and speed is fine on their end; Telkom has no clue... exchange shows connected at 3.8mb-odd and stable
 
Not having any issues at all. Rocking at just over 1000KB/sec, also in Randburg. You might need to switch ISPs to the clearer connection ;)
 
Yup both my lines at home. Iv tested with webafrica, mweb, axxess and afrihost accounts. So disagree with comment about ISP. I can't even browse, local and international.
 
Hell yes, took me 5 minutes just to fully load this page so I could reply. Been pretty ****ty today since 5:10pm and hasn't improved in the slightest, same problem on MWEB, Webafrica & Afrihost accounts.
 
Something is wonky, having issues getting into DCUO with major lag after eventually getting in [6th try]. Tried two accounts so not to say it is better on either.
 
Cannot play online since 04:00 this morning - takes 10-15 seconds to load this page, normally instant. Playing GW2 and Aion - 3G is only little better
 
Yes seems to be a problem with Mweb as well, speedtesting at 0.3 Mbs on a 4mb line. Local ping is >120ms.
 
I didn't have any issues last night. Was streaming from YouTube and Twitch while my sister was watching anime online.
 
Was playing farely well last night till 22:00, with a little lag, early this morning no dice - lag has come down since then, can play decently ...

Started get bad here around 21:00, went to bed, Son kept on playing, 04:00 - 05:00 playing with 6 - 8 second lag, not worth the trying - again playing Aion and GW2 ... , used to getting up early, am on leave and can play FFS Telkom, not everybody on your network is a downloader, nor do we all work effing government 8-4 jobs. If you can monitor peoples torrent usage, individually, then you can shape them individually, ****ing hell.

No need to kill gaming and other internet activities so a few asses, can download content they are never going to use in this life time anyway.

I really have not had any issues at all. None what so ever. Infact last night I was downloading and playing LoL at the same time without issues. Then downloading and streaming at the same time, everything was running perfectly :D
 
Half 06:30 after getting the kids up and fed - internet more or less back to normal, still a bit laggy, with the odd spike ... , but playable
 
Quick update. On axxess business account and it seems they have throttled everything except browsing and mail. Apparently they updated their UAP in the later few days without notifying clients (that I'm aware of). Will feedback further once I receive a response.

That said, browsing and mail is still throttled...
