Should we worry about the year 2038 problem now?

Figured this could be a problem for what I am doing now but I doubt that what I do now will be of any effect in 2038. I also doubt that 32bit signed its will be such a big deal in even 10 years time.

No, it had been fixed on GNU Linux at least with Kernel 3.17 as per articles below:
