I've seen Casablanca and City of God. My first suggestion is Aguirre: Wrath of God.

I've seen both also, but am not averse to rewatching something for the sake of discussion. I'm guessing only people who have a love for cinema will be participating here, and between us we'd have watched most of the good stuff.

I don't know, the more deeply you get into film the less you realize you've actually seen, or have the capacity to watch in a normal non-Ebertian life :D
 
Haha true. But if we want to delve into classics ever, it's going to be inevitable.
 
Should we not first draw up a list of members, decide a deadline for film submission, then hold a voting period followed by the review period? Sounds tiresome, but will establish some consistency from the off.
